How to use MECACYL HY in the mechanical gearbox of your motorcycle?

Prerequisites:

Mécacyl HY is used on cardan shafts, gearboxes, transmissions, forks.

Usage :

Gearbox if separated from engine oil:

1.  3% of the oily fluid or 1 bottle of 60 ml for 2 liters.

Bridge :

1.   3% of oily fluid in bridges.

Gimbals:

1.   3% of oily fluid. The grade of oil used can be slightly increased.

Mécacyl HY is used with new oil. If the vehicle is new or the oil is less than 6 months old, add Mécacyl HY to the vent hole of the component without draining it.

Frequency of use :

Each time the gearbox, axle, universal joint is changed.

Oil type:

Any type of gear oil.
Glazing type oils are compatible but delay the fixation of Mécacyl.

Contraindications:

– Box being broken.
– Box with differentiated oil-free overdrive.
– Previous use of additives.
