The use of CR MECACYL hyper-lubricant for engines has the following effects:

Prerequisites:
Le Mécacyl CR is the complementary hyper-lubricant for all gasoline, diesel, hybrid and gas vehicles.
If your vehicle is in perfect condition, has always been maintained regularly, has no abnormal consumption or leaks of oil or coolant (case of EGR cooled by coolant) you can absolutely use Mécacyl CR with excellent results.
Use :
Le Mécacyl CR Use with clean oil after an oil change. If you were unable to put it in after the oil change, you can add it a maximum of 3 km after an oil change.
Dosage: 2% to 3% of the quantity of oil, i.e. 1 bottle of 100 ml for 4 to 5 liters of oil.
Depending on the number of kilometers or the level of wear of the vehicle, 1 to 2 frequent oil changes may be recommended.
Note : White smoke may be emitted from the exhaust during the first 10 to 15 km after adding Mécacyl CR . This is perfectly normal: Mécacyl CR eliminates water and oxides; a long-lasting engine is, among other things, an anhydrous engine.
Frequency of use :
Follow the manufacturers' recommendations.
Maximum 15 km to maintain optimum results.
Possibility if manufacturer oil change 20 km to add Mécacyl CR.
On new vehicles:
– Add 2% without draining at 5 km according to the procedure defined above.
– Put back 2% to 3% of Mécacyl CR at the warranty drain around 10/12 kms.
– Remit 2% to 3% of Mécacyl CR at each oil change.
On used vehicles:
– Vehicle with 50 to 000 kms: Change the oil after introducing the Mécacyl CR at 5 kms then resume oil changes at the classic pace with Mécacyl CR Everytime
– Vehicle with 100,000 to 150,000 km: Change the oil at 3,000 km, change the oil at 5,000 km, then change the oil at the usual interval with Mécacyl CR each time.
– Vehicle with 150,000 to 180,000 km: Change the oil at 3,000 km, change the oil at 5,000 km and if necessary change the oil at 8000 km then change the oil at the classic interval with Mecacyl CR each time.
– Vehicle beyond 180 kms: Contact us.
For frequent oil changes, 15W-40 (for vehicles manufactured before 2000) or 10W-40 (for vehicles manufactured after 2000) oils are perfectly suitable. Afterwards, resume regular oil changes using Mécacyl CR and the oil of your choice.
On LPG vehicles:
– Same as gasoline or diesel vehicles.
Every 10 to 000 km maximum or every 15 months.
At best, do an oil change closer to 5000 km after the first introduction of the Mécacyl CR if necessary then resume emptying at the usual pace with Mécacyl CR every time.
Special case of diesel vehicles:
– Vehicles with FAP:
Mécacyl CR can be used on vehicles with FAP. It always goes in the direction of protecting the FAP. Observe the above precautions.
– Vehicle with exchangers or EGR valve cooler:
Mécacyl CR can be used on vehicles with EGR. It always goes in the direction of protecting the EGR.
Specific case:
Some models of diesel vehicles from 2005 are equipped with specific EGR valves (around 6% of diesels in circulation). These EGR valves are coupled to 1 cooler or exchanger (EGR valve cooled by coolant). If your vehicle is equipped with this type of EGR valve, you cannot use the Mécacyl CR.
Other EGR valves do not represent a contraindication.
Oil type:
In order to have faster installation, 10W40 or 15W40 type oils are suitable in 90% of applications.
Generally speaking, all oils based on petroleum polymers are compatible with MECACYL whether they are multigrade, semi-synthetic or synthetic (5W40, 5w30, etc.).
Contraindications :
– Abnormal oil consumption
– Abnormal consumption of coolant.
– Motors too worn, at the end of their potential, in the process of breaking.
– Diesel car equipped with a coolant-cooled EGR valve.
– Silicone, paraffin and graphitized oils.
– Oils based on non-petroleum polymers.
Previous use of additive.

Mécacyl CR can be used on vehicles with an EGR valve. It always helps protect the valve.
Specific case :
Some diesel truck models from 2010 onwards are equipped with specific EGR valves (approximately 2% of diesel vehicles on the road). These EGR valves are coupled to a cooler or heat exchanger (coolant-cooled EGR valve). If your vehicle is equipped with this type of EGR valve, you cannot use Mécacyl CR.
Other EGR valves do not represent a contraindication.

Prerequisites:
If your motorcycle is in perfect condition, has always been regularly maintained, has no abnormal oil consumption or leaks, and if you never or rarely use additives, you can absolutely use Mécacyl CR with excellent results.
Usage :
On 4-stroke motorcycles with separate engine oil/box oil:
Add 2 to 3% Mecacyl CR at each oil change.
Frequency of use :
Mécacyl CR is used at each oil change. For better installation and better results, if the motorcycle has more than 10/15000 km, do a first oil change after the introduction of Mécacyl CR at 3 km. Then resume draining at the usual pace, using Mécacyl CR each time.
On 4-stroke motorcycles called wet clutch (Same oil that makes the box and the bridges):
Do not exceed 2% of Mécacyl CR on manufacturer oil changes.
Note: Mécacyl CR protects and prolongs the life of the clutch (if the clutch is not at the end of its life).
